Your official NCLEX RN results are released by the nursing regulatory body (NRB) through which you applied for licensure. Official results are typically sent within six weeks after taking them. They double check and quality control grading before the results are finalized. It is important to understand that the test center staff, National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN), or Pearson VUE representatives cannot provide you any results over the phone or on the day of test.
If you have not received your results after six weeks, contact your NRB to verify your status.
The NCLEX Quick Results service offers an option to access unofficial exam results early within two business days. This service is available through your Pearson VUE account and involves a small fee. Quick results can give you an early indication of whether you passed the exam or not. But always remember that your official results are the ones that matters for your license.
Your NRB will send you a Candidate Performance Report (CPR) if your NCLEX results are negative. Since the NCLEX is not divided into sections, you cannot pass some sections and fail others. Rather, the CPR identifies your advantages and disadvantages so you can get ready for another try. Tiju's Academy offers resources and focused advice to help you create a more effective study strategy for your upcoming test.
